VA Condolences

My dad served in the United States Army (active duty and then reserves) for I believe about 8 years. Received the following from the Veterans Administration on 3/19/2015: "We are very sorry to hear of Gregor Vetter's death. Please accept our sincere condolences on behalf of a grateful nation. We appreciate the sacrifices the Veteran made to serve our country. With sincere regard for the Veteran's service...”
